Steve, His Digicam, And A Bunch Of Gorgeous Machines
On Sunday, May 3, 1998, the annual Hillsborough, California Concours d'Elegance was held. I visited with my family and my Olympus D-600L digital camera.

The following photos seemed worthy of being shared among my web friends, so here they are.

I must apologize for the lack of interesting historical detail on these cars, as I was too busy watching over three little kids to take much note of what I was photographing. But the beauty of what I saw there was unmistakable.

A few technical notes on what these photos are and aren't. Each of the thumbnails and the 50% reduced images you see here were generated en masse by Thorsten Lemke's excellent GraphicConverter program. The large, unretouched images were captured on my Olympus D-600L in HQ mode, and are presented here in their raw form. Some of them would benefit from some wanking in Photoshop, but I have to go to work tomorrow. :-)
